Greetings Creeps,

It has been awhile since I updated the Creephouse Jams.  I like to get a full week of jams in before I post on Friday and I haven’t been jamming all week for a couple weeks.  Plus I have mostly been listening to the same stuff over and over again.  Yeah, there have been some outstanding albums as off late.

This weeks list is smaller than usual because the new Gorguts has taken over my ears, followed by the new Carcass but I managed to get some other stuff in as well:

Gorguts – Colored Sands

Gah This album is a beast!  True to form and destroying.  Tech Death Metal done to perfection.  Blast it in your face as soon as you can.

Exhumed – Necrocracy

Exhumed wear their influences on their sleeves and make no bones about it.  Sometimes you just need a healthy dose of well played classic death metal.  This new album does the trick.

Guy Clark – My Favorite Picture of You

I was recently turned onto Mr. Clark.  It seems he is considered one of the greatest American song writers.  Well better late then never.  I am going to have to dive into his extensive back catalog.  Amazing folk music.  If all of his stuff is half as good as this new album I should be in for a treat.

Carcass – Surgical Steel

As far as reunions go I don’t get all excited like a lot of folks because usually they suck.  New Black Sabbath?  Who cares?  But this Carcass!  I hold their first 4 albums in the highest regard and I was eagerly anticipating this album.  Well it is pretty awesome.  More in line with Heartwork then Necroticism but it dabbles in that too.  A good way to forget Swan Song.

Erab Altor – Fire Meets Ice

Coffins – March of Despair

Royal Thunder – CVI: A

Coffins – The Fleshland

Bolzer – Aura

Monster Magnet – Mastermind

Revocation – Revocation

Alda – Tahoma

Yellow Eyes – Hammer of Night

Riot – Thundersteel

Robert Sarazin Blake – Still Kissing Last Night’s Smoke Stained Lips

Gorguts – Considered Dead

Ruby the Hatchet – Ouroboros

Stay Creepy My Friends!
