Greetings Creeps,

There is so much awesome stuff coming out this year I’m a bit thankful for these slow weeks, as far as new releases are concerned. It gives me time to go back and dive deeper into albums that get neglected or to discover older stuff that is new to me. Nothing much on the radar this week as far as new releases. My buddy did turn me on to the recently released album Enemy of Man by Kriegsmaschine, which is fantastic. I spent most of the week checking out recommendations, new bands and some listening to some more neglected albums. I’m still stuck on the new Woods of Desolation and Nasheim albums. On to the list!

Kriegsmaschine – Enemy of Man

This popped into my dropbox this week and when I went to dig up some info on the band I found out that this was a new release and consisted of band members from Mgla. Sounded good to me before I even hit play. This is some frantic, pummeling, grinding, satanic black metal. Good for what ails you may knock the dust off your brain, rattle it around some.

Luciferion – The Apostate

This is some solid symphonic black/death metal. Reminds me a little bit of Behemoth but without out all the fluff, if that makes sense. Moody, a little creepy and punishingly heavy.

Yellow Eyes – The Desert Mourns EP

I can’t seem to get enough of this EP. Awesome, intense, moody, yet somber and beautiful black metal. These guys have been killing it.

Woods of Desolation – As The Stars

Demoncy – Joined in Darkness

Nasheim – Solens Vemod

Samael – Passage

Chuck Ragan – Covering Ground

Trial – The Primordial Temple

Thunderwar – The Birth of Thunder

Manegarm – Havets Vargar

Mania – Revel

Darkestrah – Manas

Vermod – Venter på stormene

Necrovation – Insurrection

Craft – Fuck the Universe

Livsnekad – Den sociala vanförheten

Oak Pantheon/Amiensus – Gathering Split

Lutomysl – Lutomysl

Meathook Seed – Embedded

Deathevokation – The Chalice of Ages

Corpsessed – Abysmal Thresholds

Yellow Eyes – Hammer of Night

Mayhem – Ordo Ad Chao

Blaze of Sorrow – Echi

Stay Creepy My Friends!
