Greetings Creeps,
There is so much awesome stuff coming out this year I’m a bit thankful for these slow weeks, as far as new releases are concerned. It gives me time to go back and dive deeper into albums that get neglected or to discover older stuff that is new to me. Nothing much on the radar this week as far as new releases. My buddy did turn me on to the recently released album Enemy of Man by Kriegsmaschine, which is fantastic. I spent most of the week checking out recommendations, new bands and some listening to some more neglected albums. I’m still stuck on the new Woods of Desolation and Nasheim albums. On to the list!
This popped into my dropbox this week and when I went to dig up some info on the band I found out that this was a new release and consisted of band members from Mgla. Sounded good to me before I even hit play. This is some frantic, pummeling, grinding, satanic black metal. Good for what ails you may knock the dust off your brain, rattle it around some.
This is some solid symphonic black/death metal. Reminds me a little bit of Behemoth but without out all the fluff, if that makes sense. Moody, a little creepy and punishingly heavy.
